Pre Order180-day Cornish Celtic Chicken and Hen Pair (Copy)
The longest-lived, best-tasting chicken in Britain.
- Pasture-raised for six months to develop deep, rich flavours.
- Fed a traditional diet free of soy and GM ingredients, then finished on maize.
- Featured on the menus of Michelin-starred restaurants
Cornish Celtics roam freely over wildflower meadows, enjoying a traditional diet of coarse grains. They are fed on maize during the last month to give their skin a distinctive yellow hue and enrich the flavour of their meat in the French tradition.
Unlike most commercially raised chickens, which are often slaughtered after just 36 days, Cornish Celtic chickens are slow grown for six months, giving them time to develop their distinctive rich chicken flavour, firm muscles, strong bones, and finely textured meat.
“The flavour of these chickens is incredible; unlike any other chicken I’ve come across. They are a joy to cook and more importantly, the guests love them. A first-class product!”
